In my previous role, two children were arguing over a toy. I first listened to each child's perspective to understand the issue. I prioritize safety by maintaining a clean and organized play area, ensuring all toys and equipment are in good condition. I closely monitor children's activities and intervene if any unsafe behavior is observed. Additionally, I follow all safety protocols and emergency procedures, such as knowing the location of first aid kits and being aware of any allergies or medical conditions the children may have.

I tailor my approach based on the age group. For younger children, I focus on interactive play, such as singing songs and reading stories, which helps with language development. For older children, I introduce more complex activities like puzzles and group games that encourage problem-solving and teamwork. I also ensure there's a mix of active and quiet play to keep the children engaged and balanced.

When a child is upset, I first provide comfort by offering a hug or a comforting word, depending on what the child prefers. I then try to understand the cause of their distress by gently asking questions. If the issue is something I can resolve, such as a lost toy, I help them find a solution. If not, I reassure them that it's okay to feel upset and that I'm there to support them.

I promote social skills by organizing group activities that require cooperation, such as team games or collaborative art projects. I encourage children to take turns, share, and communicate their needs and feelings. I also model positive behavior and provide praise when children demonstrate good social skills. This helps create a supportive environment where children learn to interact positively with each other.
