In stressful situations, I remain calm and focused, assessing the situation quickly to determine the best course of action. I prioritize the safety and well-being of the client first. For example, if a client experiences a sudden health issue, I would immediately call for emergency services and provide any necessary first aid while keeping the client as comfortable as possible. Post-emergency, I document the incident and debrief with relevant parties to prevent future occurrences.

Maintaining confidentiality is paramount in my role as a Personal Support Assistant. I adhere strictly to privacy policies and legal requirements, ensuring all client information is handled with the utmost discretion. I use secure methods for storing and transmitting data and limit access to sensitive information to only those authorized. Regular training on privacy practices helps me stay updated on best practices and legal standards.
