My passion for working with children and helping them overcome developmental challenges inspired me to become a Pediatric Occupational Therapist. Witnessing the transformative impact of therapy on a child's ability to participate in daily activities and seeing the joy it brings to their families solidified my career choice.

I approach assessments by first understanding the child's developmental stage and specific challenges. I use a variety of tools and standardized tests, but also observe the child in their natural environment to gain insights into their functional abilities and areas needing improvement.

One challenging case involved a child with severe fine motor delays. I developed a personalized intervention plan that included sensory integration techniques and adaptive tools. Over time, the child showed significant progress, which was incredibly rewarding.

Collaboration is key. I regularly communicate with parents to ensure they understand their child's therapy goals and how they can support at home. I also work closely with teachers and other therapists to create a cohesive support network for the child.

I use a variety of motivational strategies, such as incorporating the child's interests into therapy activities and using positive reinforcement. Creating a fun and supportive environment helps children stay engaged and motivated to achieve their therapeutic goals.
