Additionally, I maintain a positive and hopeful attitude, which can help uplift their spirits and provide a sense of hope for their recovery.

Ensuring patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance is a top priority for me. I strictly adhere to the guidelines by only discussing patient information in secure, private settings and never sharing details with unauthorized individuals. I also ensure that all patient records are stored securely and accessed only by those with the necessary permissions. Regularly reviewing HIPAA policies and staying updated on any changes helps me maintain compliance and protect patient privacy at all times.

Collaboration with the nursing team is crucial for providing comprehensive care to oncology patients. I actively participate in team meetings to discuss patient progress, treatment plans, and any changes in condition. I also assist the nurses with tasks such as administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and providing patient education. By maintaining open communication and sharing information promptly, we ensure that all aspects of patient care are coordinated and that the patient receives the best possible support throughout their treatment journey.
