Maintaining a sterile environment is critical in the OR. I strictly adhere to aseptic techniques, including proper hand hygiene, wearing sterile attire, and ensuring all equipment is sterilized. I monitor the surgical field for breaches in sterility and address them immediately. Additionally, I educate team members on best practices and enforce protocols to minimize contamination risks, ensuring patient safety and infection prevention.

I act as a liaison between the surgical team and the patient's family, providing timely updates and addressing their concerns. I use clear, empathetic communication to explain procedures, progress, and any unexpected developments. By maintaining transparency and offering reassurance, I help families feel informed and supported throughout the surgical process, fostering trust and reducing anxiety.

Postoperative care involves vigilant monitoring for complications such as infection, bleeding, or adverse reactions to anesthesia. I assess vital signs, manage pain effectively, and ensure proper wound care. I also educate patients on recovery expectations and signs of potential issues. By maintaining thorough documentation and collaborating with the healthcare team, I ensure continuity of care and promote optimal recovery outcomes.
