I also explain the procedure in detail and address any concerns they may have. During the scan, I monitor the patient's condition through the intercom and adjust the procedure as needed.

To maintain image quality, I regularly calibrate the MRI machine according to the manufacturer's guidelines. I also ensure that the patient is positioned correctly and that the imaging parameters are optimized for each specific scan. Additionally, I review each image for clarity and repeat the scan if necessary to achieve the best possible results.

If a patient is in pain or discomfort, I immediately stop the scan and assess the situation. I communicate with the patient to understand their condition and provide appropriate support. If necessary, I consult with the radiologist or physician to determine the best course of action, which may involve adjusting the procedure or administering medication.

Effective communication is crucial for accurate diagnosis. As an MR Technologist, I ensure that I provide the radiologist with detailed information about the patient's condition, any challenges encountered during the scan, and the quality of the images obtained. This helps the radiologist make informed decisions and improves the overall diagnostic process.
