I was drawn to this role because of my deep empathy for individuals facing end-of-life challenges and their families. I believe in providing compassionate support during such a critical time, helping patients and loved ones navigate emotional, spiritual, and practical concerns. My personal experiences with loss have also shaped my commitment to this work, as I understand the importance of creating a safe, nonjudgmental space for healing and acceptance.
How do you approach building trust with patients and their families?

I manage emotional challenges by practicing self-care and maintaining a healthy work-life balance. I also rely on supervision and peer support to process difficult emotions. While the work can be emotionally taxing, I find fulfillment in knowing I’m making a meaningful difference. I remind myself that my role is to provide comfort and guidance, which helps me stay grounded and focused on the needs of my patients and their families.
