In such situations, my priority is to maintain patient confidentiality and ensure immediate communication with the ordering physician. I document the findings clearly and promptly report them to the radiologist for further interpretation. I also ensure that the patient is informed of the need for further medical attention, maintaining a supportive and empathetic demeanor throughout the process.
